Photography

I'm a photojournalist and visual storyteller who works around the world, including in the French Caribbean, Cameroon, and Peru. I report about gender and environmental issues, travel, food, and science. My photos have appeared in CNN, the BBC, NPR, ZiNG Magazine (Liat Airline's onflight magazine) Edible Brooklyn, and Village Voice, among other publications.

Trained as an Art Historian at Columbia University (and having been an artist who exhibited my work in NYC for many years), I have a vast understanding of art, photography, and art history, and I occasionally curate photo exhibits - my last exhibit was for the American Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) at the Joseph Raphael De Lamar House (otherwise known as the stunning Beaux-Art mansion that houses the Polish Consulate in NYC). In addition to my photography, I'm a videographer and and storyteller for Advice Project Media, a global nonprofit I founded based in New York City.

Learn more about my nonprofit work by visiting Advice Project Media, or reach out if you would like to discuss commissioning a reported story.

I also take a small number of family clients and three weddings per year... Visit this page for more information.
