Food

One of my greatest joys is preparing, photographing, and eating food. I'm also a food stylist and recipe creator, and I travel the world meeting with chefs and home cooks to learn the secrets of their favorite dishes. Below is a small selection of my food photography, including photos that have been published by NPR, Edible Brooklyn, and Village Voice, or work that has been commissioned by home cooks or event planners to document parties. Unlike many other food photographers, I use mostly natural lighting and try to capture the setting where a meal or dish has been prepared.
